EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 1's establishment of Hiyori's timid personality and the comedic misconceptions surrounding her, this episode deepens her character by throwing her into a new situation that exposes her vulnerabilities in a different setting. It expands the supporting cast dynamic — particularly between Hiyori and Mizuki — laying groundwork for the relationships that will carry the rest of the season.
