This episode was interesting because, we had the welcome race and what goes along with it. It's also Onoda's first time participating in a group race of any kind. It's interesting to see how the dynamics work, we see characters whose interests are very clear and diverse. Everyone has their own complexes about themselves, which isn't obvious, but was clear enough that you can get a sense of it. It's also good that they have a character like Naruko because he's so bright, it helps balance out the jitters that Onoda was feeling, which made it wholesome.
