The finale is here! This season ends right at the final stretch of the 2nd day of the race, which makes it an awkward place to stop but honestly the episode was amazing! The title of the episode truly does embody the energy of the entire episode! Seeing Sohoku rise up has been incredible to watch!

What a fantastic way to close this part of the story. Looking back, it's amazing how much the characters have grown while still feeling true to themselves. The races are exciting, but it's the friendships, determination, and little moments along the way that stayed with me the most. I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing where their journey goes next!!

I like to see them being positive and trusting. That's what they get for underestimating the enemy. What happened to Sakamichi is understandable, given that he pulled everyone from the start. Bring on the second season in an instant.

Episode Context

As episode 38 of 38, this is the season one finale, capping off the Inter-High's grueling Day 2 after 'Passing the Crown' explored critical leadership shifts and team dynamics. Rather than wrapping the race entirely, this episode serves as a climactic emotional peak that crystallizes Sohoku's identity under pressure, setting the stage for the decisive Day 3 battles that carry into the next season. It's the culmination of every rivalry, training arc, and character bond the first season established.
