I remember that one convenience store scene being especially memorable to me, and I think that a major part of that memorability is how well friendship and romance are depicted together in this story. Love this adaptation getting those things across even better!

Very romantic! Scenes of the festival will make you giggle! The couple are so sweet! Just one thing, I wish they kissed, but maybe they did not yet since the thrill of the series will fall.

The convenience store scene was absolutely hilarious! I felt so bad for Taira lol. I was so shocked when they almost kissed lol! It's such a funny and sweet moment, definitely a power episode! lol.

Summer festival episode! Always cute and refreshing episode. The dynamic between the two maintains it's adorableness. The animation here was so good and it maintains its consistency of quality.

Summer night vibes were awfully funny, especially Suzuki's dash after Tani shows up at the convenience store. I usually don't watch much of straight romance, but I'm enjoying this quite a lot. The festival looked extremely fun!

That summer festival subplot is here! Suzuki looked so beautiful wearing yukata & Tani unabashedly tell her that. One of the quality of this series is the voice acting that successfully bring each character to life, allowing us to immerse each scene & situation deeply.

Group hangout really showed their difference. She blends in instantly while he stays quiet observing. That gap was handled well. Slightly slow pacing though. 7.8/10, decent WATCH.

Suzuki transforming into a faster-than-light particle upon seeing Tani-kun, alongside the chibi animation depicting her running slowly, was funny and cute. Suzuki and his companions always manage to bring to laugh. Each supporting character brings the story to life.

Suzuki and Tani going to a festival together.
It’s cute and awkward.
festival games, shy moments, and their differences showing even more. Light romance, lots of small feels, and classic first-festival date vibes 🎆

Very cute episode in developing their relationship. We got to see character develop on both of their ends in the beginning which was amazing. I love that we got a festival episode so early into the show. The rubber balls Tani won had colors matching their hair which was so cute.

Here we go, another Summer Festival romance scene! Tani being lowkey smooth while Suzuki struggles with her social battery is too relatable. No forced drama, just pure vibes and natural chemistry. The side characters are top tier too. We are eating good this week."

Episode 5 presents two light yet memorable romantic moments. The first centers on Yamada and Nishi, beginning when Yamada notices Nishi trying to hold back laughter at her jokes, which sparks his interest and leads him to boldly share his LINE barcode to get closer. The second ro

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'Cute and Cool' in episode 3, where Suzuki and Tani worked through early relationship awkwardness, 'Summer Night Vibes' pushes their dynamic forward while broadening the emotional scope of the series at the one-third mark. This episode serves as a transitional chapter, building on established chemistry before episode 5's 'Someone Who Thinks and Someone Who Doesn't' pivots attention toward the friend group's own relational complexities. It's a key bridge episode that solidifies the central pairing before the season widens its lens.
