A quite emotional episode for me. The episode’s taken a nostalgic and somber tone, with flashbacks that makes you question Suwon’s true feelings about all of this. The whole sequence leading up to what happened to Hak and Yona had me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait to see what happens to them

This chapter has several points. First, Yona's determination and glimpses of her development as a fighter; second, an exploration of Soo-won's complex personality and his growth as a leader; and finally, the introduction of new and colorful characters.

The way things escalated in this episode was well done! I couldn't breathe from the action and the intensity of politics within the castle. The latter half feels like a gentler slope downward, but it also moves the plot forward with Su-Won's ambition and Yona's awakening.
