Yona of the Dawn Episode 3: The Distant Sky

Another slow paced episode, which highlighted some flashbacks, giving a little more depth to the characters and story. One thing i absolutely love, is the consistency in colours given to represent the characters. You get to see how their outfits change through time yet maintain the same colour and vibe.

The episode is a journey into the past where we understand everything that was destroyed in the first two chapters. It even leaves us wondering why the betrayal occurred.

Heads up, a majority of this episode are flashbacks. The scenes here add even more depth to how grave the future betrayal Su-won did for Yona, and even Hak who had been with them too. I love the focus on their actions and words, and how natural their interactions here.
