The tension is thick as things further develop for the main cast as they learn more of the village's history. I love how different things have looked like between Ki-Ja's village and this one, too. The contrast was showcased very well and evokes so much strain for the characters.

For a person who has lived with the stigma of a birth "curse" for so long, it will be difficult for them to accept the hand of someone who wants to treat them as a friend for the first time. Even so, Yona is going to try.
