This first episode was really curious. Everyone is complaining about how gross this anime is… I can confirm, but I’m really wondering what it’s trying to say. I think it’s all about addiction and how it destroys your life to the point of controlling everything in it. I hate how Yanineko smokes in every scene of the anime; there’s not a single one where she doesn’t smoke. It’s really sad.

I wonder if the anime is going to progress at all or if it’s going to be as episodic as this first episode. It was fine overall; I liked the comedy, and the animation is pretty good. It was a good introduction, but I’m wondering what’s going to happen next, and I feel that’s going to change my opinion of this anime depending on what happens.
