📖 SYNOPSIS

Based on a true story, this anime depicts the harrowing events following the 2004 earthquake in Yamakoshimura. Mari, a loyal dog, has just given birth to three puppies when disaster strikes, leaving their home in ruins. Her elderly owner is trapped beneath the debris, and Mari, breaking free from her chain, bravely encourages him while awaiting rescue.
