Okay, this episode is TOUGH. It's a point of no return. What had to happen, happens, and from here on out, there's no going back. Kotori faints after the shock of seeing Tokiko's blood, and in her dreams, she meets Kakyo Kuzuki, a person who can travel in dreams. Some events don't unfold the same way they do in the manga, and I think in this case, it lacked a bit of impact, considering this was the moment we'd been anticipating for so long. Several scenes that are much more visceral in the manga were censored, and while it's not strictly necessary to be so explicit to get the message across, this critical point in the story does feel less tragic. But overall, it's a good episode; it has some very emotional moments and a couple of frames that ended up becoming GIFs that were widely used in forums in the 2000s.
