Something about all of this feels sketchy. The pace slowed down all of a sudden, which usually means something big is about to happen. It makes you question everything you hear. Oho, an even deeper layer to the whole situation. This show never fails to pull that off. Then, right back into the action. I almost forgot to mention it, but for an older series, the animation is surprisingly good. Not every frame is perfect, of course, but it’s consistently smooth overall. That’s a pretty harsh way of handling things.

So much of the world's lore has been revealed to us in this episode, just like the last episode expounded upon the world building in mentioning Magneto, here the lore surrounding the Sasaki Institute, Sasaki's relationship to Charles Xavier, and even the phenomena pertaining to the black out region in Tohoku is revealed in if in tidbits.
