X-Men

Alright Sasaki, Takeo, and Charles were finally together, glad to see them getting along, even if it was for a moment. When the world was in danger we got to see many mutants appear to help humanity and each other. The little cameo of Deadpool was a nice touch, and I wondered where Rouge was, she didn't have a speaking role, but she did her duty faithfully, and was gorgeous while doing it, they did her justice. The set up for a second season is something if not ambitious.

A bold statement right at the beginning. There are a lot of emotions at stake and some incredibly important decisions to make. The final climax didn’t develop exactly as I expected, but it carried plenty of emotional weight in its own way. Wow, there were some truly powerful moments here. Not the ending I personally hoped for, but I can’t complain about it either. Really great show overall. It brought back the nostalgic feelings I had watching X-Men as a kid, while presenting a much more mature version of the story.

Things just became even more intense. The entire plan is finally out in the open, yet our team is still struggling. I wish that weren’t the case, but man, it has to be rough on him. There’s a LOT to resolve if they want the best possible outcome. Once again, they’re faced with the harshest reality imaginable. Will he confront his feelings and come out on top? The action choreography is always on point. A huge win for the production team; they clearly put a lot of heart into it. The final goal is in sight, but who’s going to reach it first? Once again, human relationships prove to be some of the most difficult things to solve. Dude, this is absolutely insane, but I kind of see where it’s going... I hoped it wouldn’t. It’s much darker than I expected.

Now it’s time to sit down and absorb this huge lore drop. It’s going to be extremely important for the season’s conclusion. It explains a lot of what’s happening right now. The trap was carefully prepared for him. Oho, now that’s a major move that’s bound to create waves. They’re in a dire situation, and the development is completely unpredictable.

What was once hidden is finally coming to light. There’s still a lot left to uncover, but at least that feeling of being completely lost is gone. I can only imagine the worst-case scenario here, and honestly, I hope it doesn’t happen. No time for deep thinking, though; it’s back to the action. It feels like we’re entering the final climax.

Something about all of this feels sketchy. The pace slowed down all of a sudden, which usually means something big is about to happen. It makes you question everything you hear. Oho, an even deeper layer to the whole situation. This show never fails to pull that off. Then, right back into the action. I almost forgot to mention it, but for an older series, the animation is surprisingly good. Not every frame is perfect, of course, but it’s consistently smooth overall. That’s a pretty harsh way of handling things.

Round two is coming right up. The future looks brighter after the latest changes, but the present still needs a serious cleanup. More action, just the way we like it. This challenge is definitely tougher than the previous one. The board is finally revealing itself. Oho, that expands the world quite a lot. A new variable has entered the game.

Human-mutant relationships are always the hardest things to manage, huh? Big decisions and major changes are coming, and they’re not easy to accept right away. Every reaction is perfectly understandable, even if agreeing with them is another matter. A big change has been made; now we’ll see whether it proves useful or not.

New developments continue to push the plot forward, but with additions that are going to trouble our group for quite a while. The story just became much bigger. There’s a lot happening, and much of it is still unknown to us. It feels like we can’t see the whole board yet and are forced to play in the dark.
