X-Men

This is one of the list of Marvel anime that came out around the same time, that surprisingly breaks the mould. Instead of killing the love interest in the penultimate episode they did it in the beginning before the story takes place! Wow, so innovative, so groundbreaking. Just a touch of sardonic humor to liven you up for this dreary story. It’s good, first time the X-Men are seen as heroes, and you feel for the characters when things go south for them. The ending was a sad one, but had it was uplifting all the same. They really thought they’d a second season though, that was pretty funny! 😆

Alright Sasaki, Takeo, and Charles were finally together, glad to see them getting along, even if it was for a moment. When the world was in danger we got to see many mutants appear to help humanity and each other. The little cameo of Deadpool was a nice touch, and I wondered where Rouge was, she didn't have a speaking role, but she did her duty faithfully, and was gorgeous while doing it, they did her justice. The set up for a second season is something if not ambitious.

A bold statement right at the beginning. There are a lot of emotions at stake and some incredibly important decisions to make. The final climax didn’t develop exactly as I expected, but it carried plenty of emotional weight in its own way. Wow, there were some truly powerful moments here. Not the ending I personally hoped for, but I can’t complain about it either. Really great show overall. It brought back the nostalgic feelings I had watching X-Men as a kid, while presenting a much more mature version of the story.

Things just became even more intense. The entire plan is finally out in the open, yet our team is still struggling. I wish that weren’t the case, but man, it has to be rough on him. There’s a LOT to resolve if they want the best possible outcome. Once again, they’re faced with the harshest reality imaginable. Will he confront his feelings and come out on top? The action choreography is always on point. A huge win for the production team; they clearly put a lot of heart into it. The final goal is in sight, but who’s going to reach it first? Once again, human relationships prove to be some of the most difficult things to solve. Dude, this is absolutely insane, but I kind of see where it’s going... I hoped it wouldn’t. It’s much darker than I expected.

Now it’s time to sit down and absorb this huge lore drop. It’s going to be extremely important for the season’s conclusion. It explains a lot of what’s happening right now. The trap was carefully prepared for him. Oho, now that’s a major move that’s bound to create waves. They’re in a dire situation, and the development is completely unpredictable.

What was once hidden is finally coming to light. There’s still a lot left to uncover, but at least that feeling of being completely lost is gone. I can only imagine the worst-case scenario here, and honestly, I hope it doesn’t happen. No time for deep thinking, though; it’s back to the action. It feels like we’re entering the final climax.

Something about all of this feels sketchy. The pace slowed down all of a sudden, which usually means something big is about to happen. It makes you question everything you hear. Oho, an even deeper layer to the whole situation. This show never fails to pull that off. Then, right back into the action. I almost forgot to mention it, but for an older series, the animation is surprisingly good. Not every frame is perfect, of course, but it’s consistently smooth overall. That’s a pretty harsh way of handling things.

Round two is coming right up. The future looks brighter after the latest changes, but the present still needs a serious cleanup. More action, just the way we like it. This challenge is definitely tougher than the previous one. The board is finally revealing itself. Oho, that expands the world quite a lot. A new variable has entered the game.

Human-mutant relationships are always the hardest things to manage, huh? Big decisions and major changes are coming, and they’re not easy to accept right away. Every reaction is perfectly understandable, even if agreeing with them is another matter. A big change has been made; now we’ll see whether it proves useful or not.

New developments continue to push the plot forward, but with additions that are going to trouble our group for quite a while. The story just became much bigger. There’s a lot happening, and much of it is still unknown to us. It feels like we can’t see the whole board yet and are forced to play in the dark.

That’s going to be an incredibly tough situation to deal with. There’s a lot to unpack in such an uncomfortable setting; it almost feels like a three-way confrontation. Far too risky. The climax seems to be getting closer this time. It’s difficult to tell what’s right and what’s wrong at this point. Our team will have to confront their scars once again.

The gang is back together. I wonder how they’re going to handle this one. There’s never an easy job when mutants are involved. The other side has already set their plan in motion. Right into the action as we dive deeper into the lore behind this conflict. It’s interesting to see how the initial setup, which was already a big deal, continues to play a role in the mission. A personal drama seems to be at the core of it. WOW, that’s a huge plot twist.

This takes me back quite a while. I used to watch X-Men every single day during lunch when I was a kid, and those are definitely cherished memories. I had no idea this adaptation even existed. Let’s see what it’s all about. So many iconic heroes, and with a rather mature visual style too. I’m liking it so far. A huge problem right from the start. Hard feelings to overcome and a rather new situation for everyone involved. A great introductory episode.

Un anime excelente, realmente como construyen la historia logra mantenerlo atrapado en todo momento.

Un final muy épico con crossovers de personajes bastante interesantes. La forma en que logran salvar a la tierra sin tener que matar a Takeo es increíble, remarca muy bien lo que son los X-Men.

Un capítulo excepcional, ver como Wolverine entra en modo berserker para derrotar a Neurona es increíble en todos los sentidos. Una estrategia muy a su estilo. Además que la mezcla de batalla psíquica y física es excelente, muy buen balance entre ambos. Y el profesor X va en camino a ayudar a su equipo.

Se descubre quién esta detrás de la puerta, quién fue responsable del secuestro de los mutantes y cómo lograban bloquear a cerebro para que Profesor X no pudiera leer esa zona en específico. Aparece un enemigo brutal que pone en aprietos a los X-Men mientras el profesor X trata de liberarse del ataque psíquico.

El capítulo trae muchas revelaciones impactantes. ¿Qué habrá detrás de la puerta? Será tan valioso como para que el círculo interno allá viajado medio mundo. Será que el profesor X se salvará o su atacante psíquico es más poderoso.

La tensión sube cada vez más, se descubre quiénes son los asistentes de Yui. ¿Qué esta pasando con los mutantes? ¿Cómo están enfermando? Será que Yui tiene algo que ver. Y más aún, el Profesor X viaja para conocer la verdad detrás de las revelaciones de Yui.
