Far from the inferno, Tsume, Hige, and Toboe trudge through a brutal, snowy mountain pass, their movements slow and labored. Hige collapses, admitting his disbelief in Paradise, his exhaustion palpable. Toboe, ever the innocent, tries to bridge the growing divide, asking why everyone must fight. Their shared vision fractures under the relentless cold.

Kiba awakens in a breathtaking oasis, a sudden, shocking shift from fire and ice. Vibrant greens and shimmering water surround him, a clear blue sky overhead. He takes it in, his eyes widening at the sight of blooming flowers. This impossibly perfect world suggests either a miracle or a potent illusion.

Back in the snow, Toboe sniffs out a familiar scent, leading them to Quent Yaiden, nearly frozen solid. Tsume warns against helping their old enemy, but Toboe, ever compassionate, begins digging him out. Iyek, one of the tribesmen, explains their mistake, revealing his people believe wolves are sacred ancestors. He offers them refuge in his village, a collection of simple hide tents nestled in a harmonious valley.

Mew and Kiba walk through fields of vibrant flowers; she tells him this is a place of freedom from suffering. Kiba admits he has sought such a place his entire life, and Mew assures him this Paradise was made for him. She asks if he would stay with her forever, and Kiba's resolve wavers. He confesses his lifelong dance with death, a deep trauma she listens to with understanding.

He warns that when the wolves return to Paradise, the current world will end. His gaze lingers on Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, asking if they are the ones seeking it. This prophecy adds a heavy, apocalyptic weight to their journey.
