Wizard Barristers

So... It's not particularly bad, but I do feel that it was way TOO rushed, everything fell into place so easily that it doesn't fill the expectative I had to a 100%. On the bright side, Cecil succeeds in exposing corruption while reaffirming that justice requires both courage and compassion, and that's kind of nice... Also, there are some great moments with some other characters and not only Cecil, which is a good way to end some plots.

This one started the untangling but I think it was a bit rushed. However, I did love watching Cecil in her backbone not quitting her ideals, despite of her fears and all of the people trying to silence her.

I feel like a lot happened in this episode and I don't know how it's going to untangle. That aside, I think this one was like a roller coaster of plot twist and emotions for Cecil, and for us as watchers. It feels like all of the tension that's been duilt up is close to finally snaps

This one stressed me out in the best possible way! Cecil moves forward with her mom's investigation, finding out that everything it's way more complicated than she thought, since different people have been hiding the truth for years.

In this one Cecil investigates a mysterious magical charm believed to protect its owner. As the case unfolds, the action is BACK as she uncovers hidden connections between magical artifacts, organized crime, and people with great influence. It's easily one of my favorites so far!

I normally enjoy episodes that explore a bit deeper the other characters and not only focus on the main one. In this particular case, I just find fascinating that this episode provides additional background on the team and a curious connection of all of this with Cecil.

I love how the teamwork is growing stronger between Cecil and her colleagues while they're trinying to protect the public while uncovering the truth behind what initially appears to be a simple accident.

Here we can start seeing that they face increasingly violent opponents while discovering that there migh be some other things or forces manipulating magical crimes throughout the city. There's a sutil shift from legal cases to board conspiracy which I find interesting

I love how this episode explores accountability and how difficult it becomes to determine who is truly responsible for a crime. I'm really loving how it's exploring all of this through the limits of legal responsability

There's a lot of mystery going on focused on people around Cecil, and their motives are still hidden as well regarding their intentions toward her while the coincidences involving Cecil keep piling up.

A predicament puts Cecil and civilians in danger, but with the help of the police and her co-workers, she overturns the situation once again, while Shizumu seems to be hiding a lot from everyone else.

A great episode showing how the magic court law works and shows how Kamakiri is a veteran barrister with him being nonchalant and witty at the same time.

A dilemma for Cecil to defend such a sinister character and another veil of mystery to the wizard community are revealed in this episode along with awesome fight scenes.

I really love how the topic of prejudice and deciding that what you believe it's the most absolute truth, and everyone should accept it, it's handled. It adds a bit of realism that you wouldn't expect to find in this kind of stories, espcially when it shows how different factors, as manipulation, play a decesive role during trials.

The visuals were CRAZY. I love the fact that it starts to explore the flaws and bias within the magical justice system, showing prejudice towards witches as a big part of this issue.

It's a great start! I really love Cecil's introduction and how she takes a difficult case right away. Also, I love how much she frustrates her new colleagues with her unexpected methods and how willing she is to actually make a change in the legal system.

Everything finally clicks into place in a way that feels earned and leaves me wanting so much more.

It is definitely one of the most intense moments this season.
