HIGH CARD Season 2

Pretty good finale. The visual of a knight getting hit by a car will never not be funny. There's alot of action too as the cherry on top. Whole season overall was pretty enjoyable save for like episode 2.

Holy brocon, that aspect was unexpected. Finn finally learns the truth of what happened that faithful night with his parents. Pretty good episode

Ok, so that did not go the way I thought it would. This episode is pretty much the tension between Ban and Theodore coming to a violent head. I liked it except for the ending of it, like it makes sense character-wise but idk it was unsatisfying.

Yea Owen is losing his mind this episode. Pretty stark contrast to how he's been shown before so I'm curious abt him and president's backstory. This episode is more like set up for the next few more than likely.

This episode is a big lore dump on the history of players and how what is taught in the present day is inaccurate. Kind of interesting and did answer some of my questions from last episode.

The 3d model of the knight is taking me out lol. No more filler we're back to main plot. The knight finally makes another appearance, and I'm left with more questions than answers tbh.

Another filler episode though I enjoyed this one better. Wendy meets another cardholder that sees their card more as a curse than a tool. Also touches a bit on how trauma can effect a kid.

A slower episode after the chaos of the previous one. Mainly focuses on Leo's character and how he's pretty isolated from his peers. Pretty good episode I liked it.

Episode is mainly backstory for Theodore and Ban. Thankful that we finally get Ban's motivations that was bothering me since season 1

Way better than last episode. Not nearly as much of a drag and something actually happens! We get to see another Klondike member.

This episode drags until the very end where something actually happens. Didn't really like this episode especially after the first one. It pretty much killed the momentum from the first

The black knight is back from the first season and seems to maybe be the main villain of the season? Season picks up right after the first one. Episode was fine

It’s rare to see a show balance this level of style with such a heavy emotional payoff. They gave us an absolute banger episode for the finale. An absolute watch .

Facing the past at the orphanage was the heavy emotional reset needed before reaching the end of the season. The writing here is just on another level, it makes all the high stakes card chaos feel so much more personal. Sad episode btw.

The Gala went from 0 to 100 so fast my head is spinning. Watching the squad actually pull off the plan while the world literally ends around them was peak. The tension is insane and you can finally feel that everything is on the line now. Can't wait for the next episode.

This episode is peak setup with no filler, just pure hype as the team locks in for the finale. Seeing everyone finally on the same page gave me chills. The stakes are through the roof and the energy is just on another level. Banger episode .

Lala Valdenklein is the main highlight in this episode. It dives deep into the tragedy of the X-Playing Cards and the ghosts of the past. The art direction is great, and the emotional stakes have never felt higher.

This episode is a slow-burn episode that shows the mental toll of the recent chaos on the card players. The dialogue were top notch, but the slow pacing makes it feel like the longest 20 minutes of the season. A good watch but little bit slow.

This episode is the emotional peak episode that this season needed. The bridge scene is an absolute banger , beautifully directed and heart wrenching. It’s less about the card powers and more about the loyalty between Finn and Chris. Such an sad episode.

This episode is exactly what we needed after that lore dump. The energy is back, the style is back, and the character dynamics are hitting harder than ever. Finally back to track of giving good episodes.
