Special 7: Special Crime Investigation Unit

And so the story of Special 7 comes to an end. The final battle wasn't as climactic as I was hoping it would be, but it was a satisfying, emotional ending nevertheless. Overall, I enjoyed the anime, with its fast pacing and the incredible music to add to the flavor. I kind of wish that they had more episodes that focus on the other Special 7 characters besides Ichinose and Nanatsuki, but it's a still fun watch all around!

The Special 7 may be in a dire situation right now, but they're not going down without a fight! Despite everything that happened, their determination to defeat Warlock is unrivaled. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the stage is set for one last battle. An fast-paced, emotional episode that brilliantly gets us ready for the final episode!

Things are really heating up from here on out! In this episode, we see the true leader of Nine, as well as the truth behind Nanatsuki's mysterious power. Needless to say, it was a shocking revelation that made me feel pretty bad for him. With Special 7 in disarray and the entire world in danger now, the stakes have just elevated through the roof now. This is going to be a crazy ride, that's for sure!

Wow, what an episode, Jam packed with a lot of action and emotional moments! Compared to other episodes, this one definitely feels more personal, since Ichinose was way more serious this time around than his usual, sarcastic self. We're also seeing more of the incident from 9 years ago unwind, hinting at some major twists that potentially changes the story. One of my favorite episodes so far, I can't wait to see where the anime goes from here!

It's cool to see Bellemer take the spotlight this time around. If I'm honest, though, this episode didn't really do justice for her. This would have been a great way to showcase what she's capable of (she is a ninja, after all!), but the episode didn't really capitalize on it. I still like the episode for its frantic pacing as well as music that always delivers. I just wish that they'd showcase Bellemer's abilities more here!

After the last two intense episode, the Special 7 team gets the day off. Honestly, after what went down, they all deserved it. It's mostly just the team relaxing on their day off. On the other hand, we see Nijo not really enjoying his day off, as he's still coming to terms with what happened in the mall. Despite that, it's a relaxing episode, and I kind of want to chill with them too!

A follow up from the previous episode, we see Special 7 together, trying to take down the hostages and save the mall. The first few minutes were them coming up with a plan, and then the rest of the episode was pretty much action-packed free for all. Coupled with the incredibly fast-paced music and you have yourself a thrilling conclusion to this two-parter! It's admittedly a bit wacky, but that's the charm of it. Definitely a fun watch!

Now this is a crazy episode. We see Nanatsuki, Ichinose, and Nijo trapped in a mall with terrorists. With the stakes being really high and their resources limited, every scene felt like a tense battle between life and death, with one mistake meaning everyone will die. A heart-pounding episode for sure, with a surprising twist at the end to cap it all off!

Another episode that's more focused on investigating rather than full-on action. This time, the team is investigating a suspicious car explosion. It also focuses on Nanatsuki and Nijo this time around, as opposed to the OG dynamic duo. The episode is pretty emotional for the most part, although the end is where it got pretty intense. Nijo is an interesting character overall, I wonder where we'll see him in later episodes.

The finale provides a lot of action scenes and the best gunslinger choreography! The SFX of the weapons and the power of the characters are simply the best! The latter part of the conclusion is EXCELLENT!

A storyline surprise and an upcoming finale climax are revealed in the second-to-last episode! This episode is currently one of the best of this season! The action and the intense feeling from our main characters are the best!

This episode gradually advances the plot until the very end while building toward the climax! I am eagerly awaiting the next episode, and the anticipation is growing as well!

The episode is already frantic as is, but those last minutes are what really got my heart racing. When someone like Ichinose took the whole task pretty seriously, you know it's pretty serious!
