Surely the narrative structure essentially follows a typical trajectory, yet it manages to remain remarkably interesting and engaging despite its cliched lore. However, it would have been even better and far more entertaining if the animation weren't so stiff and slow-moving, though the visual art itself is quite nice. And to be honest, the animation is mediocre, butthe storyline is quietly riveting.
