📖 SYNOPSIS
Every injury she mends gets transferred onto her own body — that's the brutal cost of Lua Restoatt's healing ability. That's her deal — she's a saintess candidate in the Kingdom of Geed, except everyone calls her the "Broken Saintess" because her power is basically a curse. She's an orphan raised in a temple, doing her best despite everything, and she's got a crush on this knight commander named Garrett. When a beast nearly kills him, Lua pushes her ability to the limit to save his life and almost dies in the process. She wakes up to find her best friend Arianne has claimed credit for the whole thing and is now engaged to Garrett. So yeah, that's the starting point — betrayal from literally the two people she cared about most. But here's where it gets interesting: Lua discovers she can reverse her power, turning all those absorbed injuries into weapons. Second Prince Sven shows up with evidence of deeper corruption in the temple and wants her help exposing it. The tone is romantic but with a real edge of political intrigue and personal vengeance running underneath. This 12-episode TV series from 2025 has a distinctive visual style and a power system that actually feels fresh. If you liked the betrayal-to-revenge arc in The Rising of the Shield Hero, or wanted The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent but with more teeth, this one's worth your time. It's dark without being gratuitous, and Lua's transformation from doormat to someone who fights back is genuinely satisfying to watch unfold.
