With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess Season 2

Don't let the word 'healing' fool you: the brutal catch is that Lua cures people by taking their wounds onto her own body. Every injury she fixes, she feels herself. She's been training as a saintess candidate her whole life, quietly carrying that burden, and the one person she trusted most just stabbed her in the back in the worst way possible. Her best friend stole credit for the life-saving sacrifice Lua made for the man she loved, and now that friend is engaged to him. Lua wakes up from nearly dying to find she's been erased from her own story. Season 2 picks up the fallout from that betrayal and keeps the pressure on. the political intrigue inside the temple runs deeper than personal drama, and Lua's alliance with a sharp-eyed prince is pulling her into something bigger than revenge. If you liked the slow-burn emotional weight of Clannad: After Story or the mix of romance and dark fantasy stakes in Howl's Moving Castle, this has that same quality of caring deeply about characters who are genuinely hurting. The healing mechanic alone is worth the entry price: it reframes every act of kindness as a genuine sacrifice. Based on a web manga, this TV series is still airing with episodes to come in 2026, so now is a good time to catch up before it gets further along.
