The momentum from the previous episode continues! We’re diving into how a new pair of characters think and fight with decent animation. Hints of past beef between the characters add a layer of intrigue that perfectly balances the heart-racing battle with some touching backstory.

This episode delivers a really intense and powerful fight, and the added backstory makes it even more emotional. You can actually feel what the characters are going through. The ending leaves you excited making it hard not to jump straight into the next episode.

Damn, I wasn't expecting this fight to be a heavy hitting one with that much of a backstory. Hiragi and Sako go a long way back and all that lead to this very moment. I appreciate Hiragi's tender care of his fellow mate even after what just unfolded.

After the chaos, this episode focuses on consequences and reflection. The bruises aren’t just physical—there’s emotional processing too. Bonds feel stronger, respect is earned, and Sakura slowly begins understanding what belonging actually means.

If Ep 5 showed character personality through the fights, Ep 6 takes it a step further by showing how character backstories can unfold & impact present fights. I might be biased because Hiragi is my favorite, but the emotional stakes here make for one exciting clash.

Episode 6 is straight hands. No speeches. No long talk. Just pure impact 😤 You really see how strong the Bofurin captains are. The fights feel heavy, like every punch means something. Sakura watching like “okay… so THIS is the level.” Bro is learning in real time.

Cloverworks delivered on the fight animation. But we've also been getting a notable amount of insert songs too. Great fights, turning point that gives more depth to the characters, makes you understand why they fight.

In this episode, it really shows how different personalities mix with each other and how even the most opposite personalities really blend with each other. It was quite interesting to see the reasons and worries of each character. It's also funny how sakura gets skipped over

This one felt like the calm before the storm. The background art of that abandoned venue is so detailed and it really sets the mood for the big fights coming up.

Episode 6 was alright, Hiragi vs Sako had real emotional weight with that childhood backstory. The animation was good but not as clean as Suo's fight. But still, you could feel the intensity and history within the animation. Solid buildup episode before the main events.

You can’t skip it because during the fight there is a backstory showing how their relationship became so strained

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 6 marks the seasonal midpoint pivot, transitioning from Suo's completed fight in Episode 5 to Hiragi's spotlight confrontation with Sako, deepening the roster beyond the protagonist. This episode functions as a bridge — it resolves character dynamics seeded earlier while establishing the emotional stakes and loyalties that will drive the back half of the 13-episode run. The shift toward exploring Bofurin's internal bonds signals the series is building toward larger-scale conflicts ahead.
