Honestly, the animation of their repartee feels a bit too stiff and serious, and the lightheartedness mostly relies on playful background music to convey the humor. But apart from that, the story flows well, especially with this episode's gradual romantic excitement and quietly intense rivalry atmosphere, which I really enjoy. The only thing missing for me is a cute, chibi-like style to elevate the cleverness.
