I loved how it ended even if it is a bit cliche. I have to admit, my heart raced during that final scene but I guess we have to read the manga to see its continuation. That was a pretty enjoyable episode! The realization scene was, in my opinion, really well done! I love this series and its characters, Maki is the GOAT and Rin is such a good girl! Hoping for a season 2 in the future!
A great last episode that leaves you really wanting for more. Sakurako and Takuya's scene was like force addition which I did not like and wished a bit more of a emotional end to their season. While Urushi's realisation and Ayumu's growth in shogi was a great end to their's that makes me excited for the development of their relationship and the change to their dynamic if a next season ever comes.
As a manga reader I knew the ending, but this episode was not that good in concluding the anime. This episode lacked humor of the previous episodes, had sudden emotional moments not relevant to the plot, and I felt like the ep was was rushed. Quite disappointed in the finale
