Great overall introductory episode as we get to meet our couple for the first time. The voice acting, body language, and facial expressions greatly depicts the charater of our two main casts that increased engagement. The music was great but the background noise like the rain and car are too loud for me ruins the immersion a bit.
Manga Reader here! I like that in the first episode itself we see that Ayumu and Senpai know that they both like each other.. fun dynamic to start with. Overall this episode was very relaxed with school moments and them playing shogi.
I was expecting a generic romcom but ended up with a relatively fun show that made me smile multiple times. I did read that the author of this show was the same one who did Takagi-san and the writing is still consistently well done! I recommend this show to people looking for a laid back rom com with an emphasis on the teasing genre. Definitely a fun watch for the first episode!
