Watching her almost get caught by the other staff members had me so stressed because the way she just played it off was totally cold

It is getting kind of repetitive seeing him fall for the same voice trick and the way he treats her when he thinks she is Moegi makes the guy look like such a clueless tool

The animation on the hair is actually decent for a series like this and it was cool how they handled the transition from the plain look to her real self when she thinks she is alone

karakasa_kozo
I think that blindfold thing is going to blow up in her face soon because she keeps getting bolder and bolder every time they meet in the library and it is super uncomfortable to watch

glasses girls with a hidden side are always the best characters and seeing kuroko maintain her act even when she almost got caught was the best part of the episode

Suguru getting tricked by that voice is so messed up but you can tell the library setting makes the whole thing feel way more tense and the art looks really good during those close up shots of Kuroko

kaminari_chargebolt_126
I can't believe Suguru still hasn't figured it out, but Kuroko is doing a great job acting like Moegi and the way she uses the library as her playground is just perfect for her character
lokomo's avatar

the contrast between her normal librarian look and how she acted once the blindfold went on surprised me and the voice acting really sold the whole deception part during the climax
kumaru_yukihara's avatar
kumaru_yukihara
The plot with the voice similarity is pretty weak if you think about it for more than a second, and it is hard to watch Suguru be such a pushover when he is clearly being manipulated like this
kygerten's avatar
kygerten
it is kind of messed up how she is just straight up lying to him and taking advantage of the moegi crush but the animation during the actual scenes is way better than expected for episode two
zanjutsu_zealot_474's avatar
zanjutsu_zealot_474
the library setting is used so well here and seeing kuroko completely dominate the guy she likes while he thinks she is someone else is just the kind of chaos that fits the show

kuroko looks so much better when she lets her hair down and seeing her take control of him in the library was definitely the point where i started rooting for her to keep the secret going
susanoo_slayer_49's avatar
susanoo_slayer_49
the way kuroko just keeps up this act while suguru is completely blindfolded is actually pretty wild and even though the logic of him not knowing her voice is a bit of a stretch it still works because the art style is so good and seeing the plain librarian girl flip her personality like that was definitely a highlight of the episode
sakura_strength's avatar
sakura_strength
that blindfold setup is the only reason the voice similarity thing even works and the way she takes advantage of that to keep him in the dark is some next level manipulation
mikau_281's avatar
mikau_281
suguru is seriously so dumb for not realizing it is not actually moegi but kuroko sounds exactly like her so the situation makes sense and the library scenes were actually really well done
jushiro_jubei's avatar

she uses that blindfold to keep the lie going and that library setting is getting so heavy
ungaikyo_usurper_57's avatar
ungaikyo_usurper_57
The animation really stepped up for the library scene, and that voice acting trick still works way too well
kamaro's avatar
kamaro
it makes me feel so bad for Suguru because he has no idea he is being played like this every single day
unohanas_unbeaten's avatar
unohanas_unbeaten
Kuroko taking off her glasses and going full mode on Suguru while he thinks he is with his idol is such a crazy dynamic

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 2 serves as the direct continuation and conclusion of the two-part series, picking up the threads left by Episode 1's inciting setup. Suguru's mysterious love letter and the deception engineered by the group of girls around him. This episode deepens the emotional and relational stakes built in the premiere, pushing the mistaken identity premise toward its natural, consequential end. As the final episode, it closes out the series' central arc without the promise of further resolution elsewhere.
