It was great to see how this episode perfectly filled in the missing gaps from the previous story. Following that plot point, it transitioned smoothly into the main event, w/c is the Batra festival. And the portrayal of Iruma’s satisfying feelings was truly heartwarming to watch.

A wonderful post-closure episode on Kiriwo's plot. I can't help but do feel worried about what his fate will be moving forward, but I also find it funny that even in the Netherworld, acting just like a regular demon would actually land you some jail time. The after party together with Clara and Asmodeus' family, and Sullivan lovingly visiting for Iruma was the cherry on top!

MUST WATCH. This episode CLOSES the Kiriwo arc properly, sets up future conspiracy, AND gives us some of the best family comedy in the series. If you skip this, you miss the emotional payoff for everything Iruma's been through.

A great episode to wrap up such a stressful and intense arc. It’s packed with comedy, wholesomeness, and strong family vibes. Clara and her family absolutely stole the show, they’re easily my favorite. It was also nice to see Azz’s mother and Sabnock’s sister. What really stood out to me was how Iruma finally began to see Sullivan and Opera as his true family. Such a heartwarming episode, I loved every moment of it.

My favorite scene from this episode was when Iruma started to acknowledge Sullivan and Opera as his family, it was so wholesome. It was also nice that we got a chance to see Alice's mother and some of the other Misfit student's family members.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 19 of 23, this follows the resolution of the Kirio crisis arc and serves as an emotional exhale before the season's final stretch. The Battler Party festival grounds the cast in personal connections and family dynamics, enriching relationships that will carry weight in the remaining episodes. It's a deliberate character-building pivot that rewards long-time viewers while setting the table for whatever the season's endgame has in store.
