The grand opening of the festival delivers pure, unadulterated hype. The scale of the auditorium, the roaring crowds, and the sheer nervous energy vibrating off the characters make it feel like a real high-stakes event. Seeing the incredible creativity and theatrical flare of the competing classes sets the bar ridiculously high, perfectly building up the pressure before our favorite Misfits take the stage.

the tragic dragon play actually made me tear up and seeing Iruma get all emotional just made the scene feel so much heavier

I really felt for Purson when his mom told him family traditions can piss off and it was such a huge moment for his character to finally hear that he can choose his own path and not just be a shadow because the pressure of being the only heir left must be insane especially with everyone watching him at the festival

that rock and classical music battle from class c looked incredible and it really raised the bar for what the misfits have to do

It was so cool to see Ameri in the judge box obsessing over her shoujo manga fantasies again, but you could tell she is genuinely proud of how far Iruma has come

Poro carrying Kalego around like a sack of flour is the funniest thing this show has done in a long time

Elizabetta standing up to a former thirteen crown with that much confidence was such an incredible move

The performances from the other classes were actually really impressive, and it makes the stakes for Royal One feel dangerous now that Poro is judging so harshly

Build up is there. Though I was expecting the Misfit class here in this episode. Really love it overall but the one thing I hate is waiting for another week! The peak of the arc is surely the next episode! I wonder what scores will the judges give!

relaxed iruma is just the cutest!! Also Ameri with her delulu is just the best kawaii. The visuals on the this episode is so pretty and colorful and emotions just burst out through out the performances. And with Soi's mom in the mix this is a heartfelt episode. <3

This gives me a rollercoaster emotion. First half was so funny especially Poro's mood change so fast and the way he acts with Kalego. The performances were so good, i enjoyed it. And lastly, Purson and his mom was such emotional for me. I loved Purson so much T_T

This episode focused more on building anticipation, humorous moments, and some focus on Soi and his conflicted feelings. Next episode’s gonna be fire!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 5 saw the Misfit Class lock in their resolve heading into the festival, making this episode the payoff for that preparation — the curtain finally rises. Sitting at Episode 6 of 24, this is an early-season milestone that transitions the show from buildup into active competition, establishing the stakes and dynamics that will carry through the festival arc. What unfolds here will shape the class's standing and confidence for the challenges ahead.
