Certainly, this episode shows a diverse sequence, moving from highlighting the profundity of character development and growing relationships to extensive comedic scenes, keeping the episode highly engaging despite its leisurely and deliberate pacing.

Wow, the emotional payoff here hit way harder than I anticipated. When family traditions and immense external pressures cause Purson to completely pull back, Iruma's sheer stubbornness and refusal to give up on his friend is incredibly moving.

finally the appearance of amduscias poro, a funny moody but still scary character, loved the small friction between him and sully, as cuz he was jelly back when sully was “close” to delkira due to work. I ended up watching a few times on that scene 😭

Kalego looks like he is losing his mind with these kids and their constant shouting and the way he just watches them do the Praising Circle with pure disappointment is honestly the funniest recurring bit of this season

Poro is such a weird addition to the judge panel, because his mood swings are actually insane and his obsession with the former demon king is kind of creepy. It was hilarious when he and Sullivan started fighting over that frilly apron, while the students were just standing there confused. That reaction to Iruma's reopening Royal One is definitely going to be trouble.

Opera stuffing a sleeping Iruma into a bag is the kind of chaotic parenting everyone needs and the way Sullivan was just waiting there with a weird green stamina potion made the whole rooftop aftermath even better

Amduscias Poro is definitely going to be a problem for the Misfit Class because his personality is so unpredictable and seeing him suddenly care about Royal One after hearing Irumas name gave me a bad feeling for the festival

The whole Soi leaving plot felt a bit predictable to me, but the emotional payoff when he finally shook Iruma's hand at dawn made me care anyway. Seeing them pass out from exhaustion was great.

That scene with Soi crying on the rooftop while the sky changed colors felt so genuine and you can tell he just wants to be seen even if his dad thinks he should stay hidden

I thought Iruma using that secret exposure tournament to lure out Soi was a genius move and reading those embarrassing facts about Jazz had me laughing way too hard and it totally worked to get him talking

I really felt for Purson Soi when he finally broke down about his family and the trumpet because that pressure to stay invisible sounds like a nightmare but Iruma was such a good friend for staying up all night on that roof

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the previous episode where Purson Soi's unexplained absence raised concern among the Misfit Class, this episode zeroes in on resolving that personal thread before the season shifts gears. It functions as an emotional reset point — a one-on-one story tucked between larger ensemble moments. The resolution here feeds directly into the upcoming Music Festival arc, grounding the collective excitement ahead in the individual bonds that make the class worth rooting for.
