This is a satisfying finale that focuses on the heart of the series: the relationship between Oko and Seiji. The incense burner mystery is solved, but the real resolution is emotional. Oko's slap and confession to Seiji is the climax the show has been building toward she's not his sister, and she never was. Seiji's final compliment is the perfect ending simple, honest, and full of meaning. The tsukumogami's reactions are, as always, the perfect comic relief . The show ends not with a grand adventure, but with the quiet joy of two people finally being honest with each other.I really enjoyed watching this episode.
