OH MY GOODNESS, FINALLY SEEING KINME AND KYUSHO—THERE ARE ALREADY SPARKS OF ROMANCE BETWEEN THEM!!! It’s so adorable every time I see them getting shy around each other. Plus, Kinme has already started oversharing with Kyusho.

We got to see the pictures taken on Hatsushima. Kinme looks cute getting scared over lightning. Kinme is one of those oblivious type of MC that only focuses on her work. The mood got heavy at the end part where Kinme tries to remember her past.

So Kinme has some things to scared also?!😅. Seeing the usually composed Kinme getting scared is adorable to watch and added so much depth. The animation during the blackout is super atmospheric. We got to see some "romantic" tension in the episode 👀

Episode Context

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of the season, episode 9 functions as a deliberate breather after the high-energy momentum of episode 8's "That Was Too Impressive." The blackout premise strips things back to deepen the bonds between Wakana and her core circle before the series ramps up again with episode 10's "A Top-Class Challenge!", positioning this as the calm before the final stretch's more demanding tasks.
