Wow, Kinme is finally getting into social media! I’m so happy that Kinme can finally spread its wings even further and reach more people. I’m really excited to see how Kinme handles the online orders, which are likely to keep increasing. That’s the power of going viral!

It's rather cute how Kinme doesn't know how to use the Internet nor she knows anything about SNS. There are some oddly focused shot in this episode but I don't mind it at all 😇. A power move by the salesman introducing Kinme to the world of SNS but the downside of this is her lack of workforce to supply the demand of an increased workload.

Poor Kinme struggling with "online" stuff is funny to watch. She just wants to focus on her business. That's all!! This feels so real as she navigates through business pressure. I think community wants her to grow more😅

The local merchant association meeting was so funny! Watching the neighbors try to 'leverage' Kinme’s popularity to attract more tourists to Atami was a riot. I love how she just wants to focus on her laundry, but everyone else sees her as the town's biggest star.

Kinme the boomer? Lol, just kidding. She reminds me of my mother on how inept she is regarding online stuff. Aside, this episode talks about the importance of marketing, visibility and exposure in business. Overall, a great episode—informative, visually pleasing, and comfy. 9/10.

Who is Wakana Kinme? Her mystery deepens, why doesn't she understand social media, and why does she seem to forget who she is? This episode shows the double edge of online promotion (more customers, more pressure). Still Kinme knows what comes first in her business

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of this 12-episode run, Episode 7 builds on the community rhythms and daily-life storytelling established through Episode 6's focus on Wakana's routines, introducing a fresh thread by pushing her toward digital self-promotion. This marks a meaningful pivot for the season, layering in a tradition-versus-modernity tension that appears to carry consequences heading into Episode 8, 'That Was Too Impressive.' It's a natural escalation point that expands Wakana's world without abandoning the show's grounded, character-first approach.
