The vibe of the episode suddenly turns from "comfy" to some serious mystery. Kinme starts questioning her past over that old photo. The animation of the festival lights at night is honestly felt best! But her cleaning skills are really appreciated!

Episode Context

Sitting at the near-midpoint of a 12-episode run, Episode 5 pivots from the more personal focus of Episode 4's individual request to a broader community-driven narrative, expanding the world beyond Wakana's laundry service. It functions as setup for the festival itself, building anticipation for what Episode 6 is likely to pay off. This shift signals the show broadening its emotional scope heading into the second half of the season.
