I’m a bit frustrated because, even at this point in the series, I feel like the full picture of Kinme’s life hasn’t come together yet. I’m still really curious about what Kinme’s past was like.

The music of this episode is great, it has a relaxing feel to it. Another educational episode on how to clean a stuffed toy, if it was me I would just throw it in the washer and then put it in the dryer. I like how she carefully and diligently worked on the stuffed toy like it was her own.

The episode felt dragged here. It's slow and you feel nothing is happening apart from her usual job. But the way she treats a stuffed toy is so sweet! The bird eye view shots are gorgeous!

Finding that forgotten stuffed animal under the floorboards and treating its cleaning like a top-priority mission was so sweet. It's heartbreaking to realize how much she identifies with anything 'left behind' because of her own amnesia.

I really liked this episode. The seemingly important lore is very intriguing. That aside, the visuals are great, especially the bird’s-eye view scene—I really liked the craftsmanship there. The visuals are also fantastic and cute. And most importantly, it’s educational.

It's relaxing but feels more like a filler-style episode. The discovery of the stuffed toy and the cleaning process are nice slice-of-life moments, but the narrative doesn’t move forward much. While the show’s charm is still there, it was a little boring

The pacing drags in a few spots, and the story about the toy doesn’t lead to a particularly impactful payoff. It’s pleasant but not especially memorable. Kinme’s dedication to treating even small items with care is really wholesome though

Cozy and relaxing tone but feels a bit slow compared to earlier ones, and not much actually happens beyond the cleaning process. It’s charming, but it lacks a strong emotional punch or big character moment

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following the intense technical challenge introduced in Episode 10's 'A Top-Class Challenge!', this penultimate installment delivers the emotional payoff, shifting focus from difficulty to meaning as Wakana's bonds within the community deepen. It serves as the season's emotional anchor before the finale, crystallizing the show's central thesis about memory and care. With only the finale remaining, this episode sets the stage for what should be a reflective, satisfying conclusion to Wakana's first-season journey in Atami.
