Episode Context

Sitting at the quarter mark of the 24-episode season, episode 6 follows directly from 'The Troll's Son,' where Thorfinn committed to traveling with Askeladd's band, a decision whose consequences now become viscerally real. This is a pivotal transitional episode that bridges Thorfinn's origin setup with the hardened warrior arc ahead, directly laying groundwork for 'Normanni' and the escalating conflicts that will define the season's middle stretch.
