Episode Context

Coming off the life-threatening tension of Episode 3's 'Snake,' this episode pivots entirely inward, using that brush with danger as a catalyst for Thorfinn and Einar to confront their trauma and each other. It's a critical emotional foundation early in this 24-episode season, deepening the bond between the two leads before the narrative widens. Episode 5, 'Path of Blood,' begins expanding the scope toward broader political stakes, making this the last purely introspective beat before the story shifts gears.
