Talk about a wild ride! It’s basically The Da Vinci Code meets The X-Files but cranked up to an eleven. The pacing can get super chaotic with all the theological info-dumps and bizarre science, but honestly, the sheer absurdity of the mysteries keeps you hooked. Josef and Roberto have this fantastic, grounded chemistry that anchors all the madness.

The gothic setting and unsettling tone create a creepy vibe without relying on action. It’s a solid opening for viewers who enjoy mystery and supernatural investigation anime.
