What a dramatic and emotional finale that brings together the series’ themes of faith, science, conspiracy, and sacrifice. The episode focuses more on revelations and personal conflicts than on pure investigation, giving the ending a heavier emotional tone.
A major buildup episode where everything starts converging toward the final reveal. The pacing becomes more urgent, and the investigation shifts from isolated mysteries into a clearer, connected pattern.
It continues to build toward the series climax by deepening the investigation into the larger conspiracy surrounding the miracles. The focus shifts between uncovering new evidence and connecting earlier cases that now appear to be part of a single coordinated plan.
It feels like a turning point where the story becomes more intense and focused on the larger conspiracy behind the cases. The pacing is tighter compared to earlier episodes, and the sense of urgency really starts to build as the investigation moves closer to dangerous truths.
It continues the series dark, conspiracy-driven direction while tightening the focus on consequences from earlier revelations. The tone feels heavier, with more emphasis on fear, uncertainty, and the pressure building around the investigation.
Roberto becomes the emotional center of the episode, and his growing obsession with forbidden knowledge adds a sense of unease that fits the series darker themes well. At the same time, the investigation continues to build mystery rather than giving clear answers, which keeps the suspense strong.
It keeps the dark, investigative tone of the series while deepening the overall conspiracy hinted at in earlier episodes, the pacing is steady, focusing more on uncovering connections rather than immediate action, which makes the mystery feel more layered.
This episode has a strong horror-mystery atmosphere that makes it feel different from the earlier episodes, the remote village setting and rumors surrounding the curse create a creepy tone that keeps the investigation interesting from start to finish
The episode also does a good job building suspense and revealing just enough information to keep viewers curious without giving everything away.
As the tension rises, the episode focuses on psychological mystery, hidden motives, and the growing danger surrounding their mission, more clues begin connecting the church to a larger conspiracy, making the investigation increasingly dangerous and unpredictable.
Sono onesta, meritava una seconda stagione! ma dopo circa dieci anni ...
The mystery grows darker by the end of the episode, with new revelations hinting that something far more dangerous may be connected to the case.
Talk about a wild ride! It’s basically The Da Vinci Code meets The X-Files but cranked up to an eleven. The pacing can get super chaotic with all the theological info-dumps and bizarre science, but honestly, the sheer absurdity of the mysteries keeps you hooked. Josef and Roberto have this fantastic, grounded chemistry that anchors all the madness.
Anime avvincente, visto nel lontano 2017. Potrei cacciare il meme del Papa che non si perdeva un'episodio, ma è scontato.
that was sad for Ryouta. having to face all of that at a very young age. alone on top of that. but all in all, that was a bittersweet ending. although i had a question in my mind as to why and what was going to happen next, it was still a good ending.
i knew i could never be prepared enough for the scale of this anime. just when i thought the plot was already crazy the last episode, it became even more intriguing here. who would’ve thought that we would be seeing a familiar face again. the amount of new knowledge i got from here was good. i enjoyed my time watching them navigating as well. im also glad Detective Bill was there to keep Inspector Giuvanni in check. that guy knew how to be chaotic for sure
as expected, i knew it was gonna be more complicated than what i thought it would be. i did say i was expecting something like that, but damn it still caught me off guard. there were too many people being connected to the current and past cases. the lore was heavy for sure. i had my doubts on a few people. but then again, since it’s a connection to a whole different case, i could say that i got totally clueless again at the end of the episode lol such an interesting plot
The gothic setting and unsettling tone create a creepy vibe without relying on action. It’s a solid opening for viewers who enjoy mystery and supernatural investigation anime.
that was a pretty interesting start. we’re dealing with a clown now huh. what amazed me was that everything that they have investigated so far always started kinda predictable and just sounded so made up. but then the more they looked into it, the more messy it got and it somehow ended with something entirely unexpected. we could already see some things being put together but nothing could explain why the lights were seen the way it was to everyone yet.
The ending closes the case with a mix of mystery and reflection.I liked how the anime leaves You thinking about the difference between faith, truth, and appearances
