This chapter was honestly very uncomfortable to watch. The power that Kaname exerts over Yuki is not pleasant. Even so, I like how Yuki stays by Zero's side while he continues to suffer. The ending was very shocking; will this new character arrive to help Zero, will they be another obstacle in the way, or will they be someone who hurts him even more?

Finally get to know Zero a little more in this episode. The action and fighting scenes still appear quite stiff, which definitely affects the overall viewing experience—the storyboarding also felt like lacking effort, but the art style, atmosphere, and music are still carrying the show. Despite the technical flaws, the emotional weight of Zero's struggle keeps the momentum going.

In this episode, we learn more about vampire classism, the hierarchy among them, and certain established rules that add complexity to the story. Kaname becomes increasingly suspicious. And the episode's ending will leave you speechless.
