Episode Context

Arriving as the opening move of the fourth and final game arc, Episode 19 follows the intense swindles and power plays that closed out the third arc, deliberately shifting perspective to Ange's 1998 timeline to reframe everything viewers thought they understood. This episode establishes the emotional and thematic foundation that will carry through the remaining episodes, directly setting up 'Zugzwang' by deepening the series' exploration of what truth even means when every witness has a different version of events.
