Hotsprings episode without all the fanservice! Not that I mind other ways. But at the same time major plot twists that completely messes with the whole show trajectory

Episode Context

As episode 7 of 13, 'Promise' functions as the critical midseason pivot, the aftermath of earlier competitions from episodes like 'Autumn Skies and Horse Girls' settles into quieter character moments that deepen the emotional foundation. This bridge episode strengthens the Special Week–Silence Suzuka dynamic specifically to raise the stakes for the major races and personal turning points that dominate the season's second half. Everything established here in terms of bonds, ambitions, and commitments will be tested as the series accelerates toward its climax.
