Episode Context

Coming off Special Week's humbling first major race experience in Episode 3, this fourth episode serves as the essential recovery-and-rebuild chapter that every sports narrative needs before raising the stakes. It deepens her connection to Team Spica and lays critical groundwork, both in skill development and emerging rivalries, for the Japanese Derby arc that looms ahead. At roughly the one-third mark of the 13-episode season, this is where the series transitions from setup into the serious competitive phase.
