Such a hype episode! Everything went so fast, literally. Obey your Master really went ahead and became the mastermind of the chess board, she’s such an interesting character from being an underdog to actually beating not only the international top dogs to beating the no.1 uma in Japan at the time all from research and her preference towards the turf. Sad still we couldn’t see Oguri beat Tama again, but the time will come soon when she finally evolves. 8.2/10

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the season, this episode pivots from the Japan Cup buildup established in Episode 4 to deepen the international rivalry by giving Obey Your Master a full spotlight. It enriches the competition's emotional stakes by diversifying perspectives beyond the core cast. This groundwork is critical, the back half of the season will carry considerably more weight now that the opposition has been humanized heading into the climactic races.
