A bit disappointing that we’ve spent time on another character instead of the main one for the first half, not bad but didn’t leave a lasting impression. The second half didn’t really do much as well, hype for the races, not seeing much action tho. 7.5/10

Episode Context

As the first episode of Part 2's ten-episode run, this follows directly from the climactic rivalry with Tamamo Cross that closed out Part 1, using that emotional aftermath as a launchpad for Oguri Cap's next chapter. The episode functions as a transitional bridge, grounding the audience in Oguri Cap's headspace and establishing her relationship with Dicta Striker before the season escalates into its next wave of high-stakes races. Everything here is deliberate groundwork for the competitions and rivalries that will define the rest of this cour.
