A fun episode. The introduction to new characters didn’t feel out of place. The training montages were also pretty interesting to look at, especially considering how high the stakes are for the race. 7.8/10

Emotional tragic episode and is very painful to watch, emotionally

Episode Context

Following Episode 3's establishment of the Spring Tennoushou as the next major goal for both Teio and McQueen, Episode 4 deepens their rivalry and internal stakes while expanding the competitive landscape with Mihono Bourbon's emergence. Sitting at the early-middle stretch of this 13-episode season, this is classic buildup positioning, layering character motivation and tension that feeds directly into Episode 5's 'Unbeaten Champion,' where the race itself is expected to deliver on everything seeded here.
