EPISODE REVIEWS

Loving the intros and outros. Nothin bad from this episode, the only complaint I can give is that it may have felt a bit too fast, wdym we watch her practice for 4 months? It doesn't feel like 4 months have passed. I'm sure this won't be the last heartbreaking accident. 7.8/10

Episode Context

Coming off Tokai Teio's triumphant Japanese Derby win in Episode 1, this episode pivots sharply into the cost of competition, introducing the rehabilitation arc that will define much of Season 2's emotional core. It bridges the early-season highs with the adversity ahead, setting up the pursuit of the Kikkashou and the Triple Crown dream. At episode 2 of 13, it's laying essential groundwork, the stakes established here will resonate across the entire season.
