This episode was really good. The animation keeps getting better and looks very impressive. The story was strong and had many unexpected moments that made it more interesting. The way they didn’t give up and handled everything on their own made the episode feel outstanding.

And so the festival goes ahead, as a number of suspicious obstacles gets in the way. It's quite interesting to see our main lead really struggle this much in the series, and the sisters become his source of strength. It says much about how their relationship is evolving forward.

A very cute wholesome episode.
I think it’s pretty clear the landlord made the fake page and tried to discourage everyone from coming to the festival, so I started wondering if he could control the rain too. Seems pretty weird that a surprise storm would pop up like that lol.

Good to see all of their hardwork payoff. Specially Uryu who worked his ass off when he never have to. Huge props to the guy. As Mahiru said if it was that much problem for him he never would have enjoyed it this much. Although it's kinda improbable for to reach 5000 but still.

A light and enjoyable episode that focuses on character interactions and steady romantic development. The pacing is relaxed, allowing emotions and relationships to grow naturally while maintaining a warm and easygoing atmosphere.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 5 delivers the culmination of the shrine festival arc set up in Episode 4's 'Connections,' shifting from preparation to execution under pressure. Sitting early in a 24-episode run, this arc serves as a foundational bonding moment for Uryuu and the three sisters, establishing the group's dynamic before deeper individual relationship arcs take shape. The challenges faced here plant seeds for the evolving connections that will drive the season forward.
