Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 50-episode run, this episode escalates directly from Episode 25's dreamscape confrontation with the Kegare, shifting the threat level to the Basara twins Momochi and Chijiwa as tangible, elite-tier adversaries. It deepens the intrigue around Sae's enigmatic powers while testing Rokuro and Benio's combat synergy under extreme pressure. The stage is set for Episode 27's pivot toward Mayura's secret training, signaling the season is broadening its scope beyond the central pair.
