Episode Context

Episode 25 marks the exact midpoint of the series and serves as a transitional bridge, the previous episode humanized the Kegare threat by exploring their desires, and now the focus returns squarely to the exorcists as they regroup and steel themselves. This episode is critical setup for Episode 26's confrontation with the Basara twins, one of the series' most significant escalations. It's the calm before a major storm, using character work to raise the emotional stakes before the action intensifies.
