EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As episode 12 of 12, this is the definitive conclusion to season one, paying off the escalating power dynamics and character tensions that ramped up sharply in the final stretch, particularly after episode 11's pivotal shift in Makoto's trajectory. The finale resolves the season's primary confrontations while deliberately leaving key narrative threads open, functioning as both a climax and a bridge toward the confirmed second season. Viewers who've followed Makoto's progression from reluctant outcast to formidable wildcard will find this episode validates that journey while promising even larger-scale conflicts ahead.
