Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, Episode 9 pivots from Episode 8's focus on the notorious beautiful sisters to expose a darker conspiracy brewing beneath Rotsgard's surface through Lime's investigation. This is a critical setup episode that builds the intelligence and stakes needed for Episode 10, 'Watch as I Improve the World,' where Makoto and his allies are positioned to act decisively against the underground threats uncovered here. It marks the transition from character-focused arcs into the season's more conflict-driven second half.
