Episode Context

Coming off episode 7's focus on Makoto managing internal challenges within his demiplane community, episode 8 pivots to the human world and the Rembrandt sisters' reentry into academic life at Rotsgard. This shift broadens the season's scope, reinforcing the parallel threads of demihuman-human relations and Makoto's expanding influence. It lays critical groundwork for the relationship dynamics and societal tensions that will drive the middle stretch of this 25-episode season.
